Default Removing Yellow Road Paint??????

This morning going to work, I apparently drove over some freshly painted road stripes. Its on the wheel wells, side of the truck, and fender flares. Due to it being in the 90's today, its dry now. How in the world do i get that crud off. Tried washing it, tried amonia with water, prep sol. Any suggestions?

Tried wd40 and a terry cloth towel. Nada. If I chip it with the fingernail, it pops off and the residue can be removed with wd40. Thought of trying a scrub pad, but got a feeling it will leave scratches. Will try a clay bar later today.
There is a bunch on both my truck and Dad's. He said when he went through they were taking a break so he had no choice but go through it. They weren't even around when I went by.
Thanks guys.

That's one messed up town you're living in. I would have the city pick up the tab if all else fails.

is it that thick yellow stuff that dries up like concrete? that crap is a pain to get off. here in tulsa the state contracted highway maintenance guys take pot hole filler by the shovel full and throw it at the hole in traffic. no cones, no shutting down individual lanes. you'll see them dart out in the road throw a shovel full down and run back. cars run right over it and throw that chit up everywhere. it pisses me off to no end. i have called and complained to no end, but nothing will be done until there is a major wreck from it or one of their guys get hit by a passing car or truck.
