Default removing paint bumper scuff.

ok some may know this but i just found out. i had my top cap on my fron bumper painted and like two weeks later some ahole in a parking lot ran into my truck and left a black scuff on the freshly painted cap. well the other day some guys at my shop took some i believe benatured alcohol or laquer thinner and bubbed the black scuff off. i thought iw was gona f*ck up the paint but it did not. this will only obviously work if their paint is left on your car. all that is left is a small crack.

so i tought i would share so some of you might have some luck.

a clay bar will also remove the scuff most of the time. alot of it depends on just how much paint transfer is there. glad to hear it came off with out damaging the cap.

yea i rubed on it with my clay bar and no luck. from what i have found the clay bar gets stuff off that has landed on the paint. i have had no luck with scuff from other painted surfaces. i wish i would of knew this trick earlier when i was cleaning a bike.
