Does anyone know how to remove the center console in a 2000 x-cab & if so could you please explain. The reason being the front part of my console has worked its way loose & is starting to rattle, which is driving me nuts. If I can get the darn thing out I think I can fix the rattle.

 

Not sure if the same goes for EC but in my SC with 40/20/40 buckets the middle seat comes out after the two outer seats are out. the brackets are stacked on one another. If you just have a console that is not a seat I am not sure. Have you checked for bolts holding it down inside the bottom of the console under the storage areas?

 

there should be three screws at the bottom of the console just take them out and pull it off
