But looking at the contrary, a 2" rear drop has to have a better ride quality than a full 2" 3" or 3" 5"
I want to do the same but my concern is with spring rates not matching. I dont want my Yukon to ride like a **** star who doesnt do **** - Loose in the front and tight as hell in the rear. Know what I mean?

With the drop springs in back and with aftermarket spring rates being a bit stiffer than OE, wouldnt you then have a more sturdy and stiff ride out back, while having OE looseness up front?

Then what about shocks?

just about everywhere sells aftermarket rear springs. Go down to your local mechanic, tire shop or dealer. I got eibach springs that have settled and ride just like factory. Truck looks good leveled.

The guy with the Denali told me he didn't change the rear shocks, and it rode smooth. I have also heard the same from other sources. I think I'm gonna go with the Belltech springs, I haven't heard much, but what I have heard suggests they are a better brand.

I haven't checked install prices yet. Shouldn't be too much, I would say less than $100. 4-wheel parts once quoted me $60 to change the spindles on my S-10, so I would hope it wouldn't be much more than that.

and the springs will level it right ? It just looks as if 2" might be a tad bit too low to sit even with the front. Where can I find these Belltech springs ?
