When my truck was put together in 1997.... 17s were considered big! I like the look of your 20s but, with the 5/7 drop on my truck, I have to choose tires carefully for the front (sidewall can't be too tall) as I only have a few inches between the top of the tire and the bottom of the inner fenderwell. In the right situation I'll rub the top of the tire on the inner fender. I have 235/45/17s on the front and 275/40/17 on the rear with 8.5" and 10" wheels. These 2 sizes of tires are almost identical in height and are about 26". At one time, I had a set of 235/40 series in the front and ended up damaging both front wheels on 2 seperate pot holes because there was not enough cushion due to the short sidewall. Had to send them in for repair and when returned, I installed a taller tire.
Good shocks make it a rarity now but, I don't think that I could run 20s.
Do you have that problem?

Beautiful truck! Simple, clean, good choice of wheels and I also like that look!

Waiting on the 3" lower control arms to get here along with the drop leaf springs.
The truck will be sitting with a 7" drop rear and a 6 up front.
Here is whats going on right now, just a waiting game.
My refinished 16s with drag radials are in the background, Im saving those for track time.

Here are pictures of the truck from tonight. I sold all my old trucks years ago guys. I love the painted front end, i just went through a few different stages with it. Here are some pictures. Still didnt have time to drop it. Funds are low and i need to move my truck out of the garage. Getting new doors and motors put on monday in the garage. Anyways, my 2/4 drop is screaming look at me look at me. I hate it. I cant wait to get the new drop installed. My caltracs are jacking up the rear too i need to back them off. But the drivers side sits a heck of alot lower my chevy lean is BAD!
Here are pics.

I like your tonneau cover, wish I had one like that. You should get your stake pockets filled, that would be a really nice finishing touch. Mine are done. It's one of those little things that not alot of people notice...
