Default Quick question about wheels & tires?

I have already searched for the answer to my question but I could not find it. I have kicked around the idea of 20's in the front & 22's in the back but I have decided to go with 20's all around with a little bit bigger tire in the back. I do have the Hotchkis 2"-4" drop but I dont think it will be a big deal for my question. I bought new wheels for my truck and they are 20"x8.5". I already decided on 275/45/R20's (29.7" tall) for the front and I was either wanting 275/55/R20's (31.9" tall) or 295/45/R20's (30.5" tall) for the rear but I am not sure how the 295's will look on the the 8.5" wide wheel. My preference is to use the 295/45/R20's in the back but I just need a little help confirming my decision. Your help is greatly apprecaited.

I think you will be fine with a 295 on a 8.5" wheel. I ran a 275 on a 8" with no issues.

Thanks, I might go with an 285/50/R20? I just dont know! One thing I do know is that I bought the same hood that you have and I am excited about that. That hood is BADASS! Mine should be here sometime next week.

295 would be too wide and look kinda goofy on a 8.5 wheel. I had 285/50's on my 20's and they looked ok.

285/50/R20's are what I am going with on the rear wheels. Thanks to everyone who helped me out.
