I think I'll try that on one of my extra sets.

The 220 grit scratched em up pretty bad, I was like oops
I had to use finer grit paper to smooth em out, but they came out just fine.

HOK is a custom paint isn't it?

But I was also wondering since it is a candy, when applying it to the regular lights if it would come out to dark. I think that rice went good becuase he said he had clear lights on there. What do you guys think. I still want to try that burgandy.

I used 220 grit on the markings on mine to remove them, then smoothed everything out with 400 and then 600 wet.
I used testors paint and dupont clear coat from a spray gun.

I got some candy red mixed up at a paint store that is going to be MUCH darker and i'm going to spray that on another set i have soon.

Also, I've seen some trucks where they took a cleared out tail light and masked off some flames so the tails were all red except where they had masked off so they had "cleared flames" if you will

I was thinking of doing the same but instead designing a cool logo or something and masking that off.
