question about shocks...

Default question about shocks...

I hope im posting in the right spot...i was looking at purchasing some airshocks so i can adjust my ride height for the drag strip and so i can tow my boat... i also wanted to see a gain in handeling.. does anyone know if air shocks will help me do this and what are some good brands of them.. also its on a 1998 silverado extended cab

I have Gabriel air shocks on my truck. But I would not recommend them for drag racing. They would kill the needed wieght transfer on a truck if you had to much pressure in them. On the other hand, I use to tow a 6200# travel trailer with them. I run them at less than 8 psi daily, but woulld pump them up to 180 psi while towing.
