Question about badges on New body style (2007) silverado?
I am wanting to remove the rear chevy emblem and the flex fuel emblem.. "possibly" all of the lettering as well.. My question is the rear badge and flex fuel badge just held on by adhesive? I don't want to start prying and find out it is more than adhesive...
Also, I tried getting the hard tonneau and was told it won't be available until August?!? Is that true of the grille chevrolet offers as well? Or the exhaust? I was wanting those three items, so I didn't know if anyone knew when all of those items would be available?
Thanks in advance!

As far as tyhe badges, they are more than likely on there with glue..GM doesnt drill to many badges on. Just go look at them and see if they move around a bit...

I appreciate it! I will check them out... I was wanting that GM grille and tonneau cover, as I am sure they will both fit excellent.
Yeah, the badges were the same old stick on ones that they have always had. I just took off the big bow tie emblem in the rear along with the flex fuel badge... I am "almost" positive, I am going to keep the "silverado" lettering on it though.

The badges are just held on by adhesive. I took mine off the day I got it home from the dealership. Try using dental floss to get behind the badges and remove them. It works well and you don't have to worry about damaging the paint on the truck.
