Looks good! When do you plan on getting it in there? I've got my cam and springs on the way, so I figure I'm gonna be about another few weeks, depending on when the stuff gets here....and how much time I have left over after work and Little League! I'm really in know hurry....cause I want to make sure I have everything I need first. Is that engine painted Chevrolet orange...or red to match your truck? Either way, it looks like you did a great job detailing it out, as mine is still the way it came. It kinda looks like Brian's (BlownChevy) motor, without the Radix tho. Nice job!...you inspire me to get off my butt and paint mine up while its just sitting here!

Early this week I hope. I'd like to pull the 5.3l tomorrow since I want to get the front accessories shipped tuesday for powder coating. A day or two to clean up the engine bay, then I can put the motor in. Hopefully the turn around for the powder coating will only be a few days. I have to fit in a few days to show my father the town since everytime he comes down here on vacation, he ends up getting his hands dirty.

The block is high temp red. I sprayed some chevy orange-red on there, but it was way to orange for what I was looking for. Victory Red Duplicolor for the fuel rails and high temp black for the intake. And everything is high temp clear coated

Don't think I've seen Brian's motor.

I just went back and looked at the pics of his motor...I think it must have been the black valve covers that reminded me of it, cause after another look thats all that it simillar. Anyway, here is the link to his thread so you can check for yourself.
