this is want it looks like over here on the right side about middle of the bow its in there but u rub a finger across it its all smooth

looks like a rock hit it and caused the crack... Like a windsheild... I guess if it shows up when you paint it you can just get a new emblem.... there cheap enough...

so what u figure use 400 grit scuffing it and then wet sand with 600 and then paint?

what are you painting it with??? professional stuff or just spray can??? you can go just 600 unless you have some divits you need to remove then start with 400 till there gone and clean up with 600

make sure you geta all the scratches out. spray can is thin... is it an enamel or laqure base??? you may need some adhesion promoter. they make it in spray can form

They have it there... looks like 7.95 for 12 oz spray can.... I would recomend that first then the color. It Looks like its lauqer based... you would only put 1 coat of adhesion promoter wait for it to dry and then your color till your happy then clear coat it for a shiny durable finish....
