Default prep work?

what prep work is everyone using to paint therre bowtie's? and what grit sand paper thanks

20 grit the prime paint... it should shine great!

i would say do 600 grit then prime it sand that with about 800 then paint it... thats my guess. remember it takes a beatin up front when you start the coats!

I scuffed mine up lightly used some filler primer sanded it smooth, then shot my paint, holding up really well

400 gritt till dull, 2 coats of primer, cure, wet sand with 600, wax and grease remove, 2 coats color, 2 coats clear done.

There are many different ways to prep for new paint. Depends on if it needs repair work, Is it a metal or a plastic part. The main thing is cleanlyness

its plastic the factory on its got a lil crack on the inside the tie but u cant feel it on the outside just visible if u look stright at it
