Don't have a ton of mods, but I had my factory seats reupholstered. Pics don't do them justice, I love them.

Thanks! Nope not yet. Do have a tri-gauge pillar pod, and did a new black headliner though. Rest of my money went to turbo and other go-fast goodies. Once all ironed out, I plan on refocusing on the interior.

My truck started out as a base model LS with cloth manual split bench in lite titanium i think it was called, I had to replace the evaporator and heater core so I decided to go ahead and replace the entire entire interior and do all the mods i had been wanting to do.....

Changed the entire dash to an 04 and style in dark charcoal...
Also ended up adding a usb port to my pioneer head unit i ended up with, also swapped the speakers out to a set of infinity's, swapped in hydroboost pedal and wired in the receptacle in center console storage compartment, dynomatted the back wall of the cab, i changed the transfer case shifter cover panel to one from a manual shift nnbs(which was a direct bolt in)and I am sure there is more but I can't remember off top of my head....i want to find a set of camo accent panel covers or the interior...

S14serge 11-29-2016 08:19 AM

Dam nice LED upgrades! I'm for sure doing the gauge cluster but how hard where the climate control and dining knobs to swap out as well?

madmann26 11-29-2016 08:28 AM

I like the LED's Wolf. I'm waiting on one of my stepper motors to fail before I do mine. Of course, that could be tomorrow or 5 years from now.

My interior is all stock. I did have the headliner replaced last year because the driver side by the window started to fall but it was recovered with OEM material. The only thing I did before putting it back up was I added some heavy insulation between the cab and headliner.

Wolftrk99 11-29-2016 11:13 AM

The headlight switch was about the easiest of them, climate controls were time consuming, and the window switches were fairly straight forward, still have to go back into the mirror switch and drivers window switch and figure out how to free it up some the resistors are binding the rockers slightly.... i also swapped the map door and footwell lights with blue leds and the overhead with a white led.... helluva difference.... the blue in the map lights doesnt make my eyes readjust if i turn them on at night to try to find something.... would like to figure out how to do some ambient lighting similar to what my camaro has in the door panels. Madmann good luck on that dash, lol!! I was also able to use the diffusers in all of my switches because i used a rectangular 180* led that actually sends light evenly through the switch, most domed leds are between 18* and 45* light dispersion

S14serge 11-29-2016 12:57 PM

Great feed back guys! Let's see some pics of those wrapped headliners! Im looking to go a dark gray or black suede on mine in the future.

Wolftrk99 11-29-2016 09:28 PM

I am thinking camo headliner if i can find the material....

He was alright. It's all good on the truck. I was over it anyways lol. I'm just glad he walked away. Said he flipped about 5 times, I told him if you would've stayed on the gas that he could've gotten a few more rolls out of it! Lol

Thats a good attitude to have, but still. Shitty situation

Years ago I did the car seat mod in the back of my crew cab. I've since updated to the booster seat addition. Cost me at least double what I paid for my truck.

silver-mod-o 12-04-2016 09:01 AM

I upgraded my rear seats to Recaro's in my 2007....

My favorite interior mod is the Katzkin and put seat heaters under them. Also put on a remote start range extender, foot well and under hood lights, dedicated cargo light switch, and folding mirrors with a dedicated switch.

:funny: Car seat mod gets really expensive when its doubled, especially when about the time they get upgraded to boosters, you have another car seat to add!!

Mconcha 12-04-2016 02:10 PM

:sigh:
Lord knows I don't need a second interior mod. I've got retirement plans one day I swear...

We shopped them all and I figured if they make quality air plane and race car seats, child safety seats have got to be right up their alley. I have bought three of their different seat models thru the years and don't see myself using anything else, they're top notch.

Love that carbon fiber wrapped trim piece! That AEM gauge looks right at home in that spot as well!

Wolftrk99 12-06-2016 11:11 PM

Since we are discussing interiors, anybody know who makes the dash overlay kits in camouflage, particularly realtree ap??

Thanks! Yea, the shop who did them did great, and I couldn't be happier with them. Price wise, honestly I'll have to look as this was over a year ago now. Think it was north of $1200 though. I could have got some factory leather seats out of a wrecked truck or SUV for cheaper, but I just wanted to get something unique.

yikes! yeah it definitely looks the part. ill probably end up going a different direction then. If you want to ever want to redo your door panels to match your seats theres a shop in Cali that will do 2 doors for 600 with leather and suede and red stitching, real nice work, they did the door panels for @RSTgirl on Instagram.

Dont mind me asking but where did you get those carbon fiber parts?!

S14serge 01-06-2017 07:59 AM

Can someone running red led cluster bulbs please chime on here with a pic or two to see how good it looks? Lol! I've ordered blue, white and red led bulbs for my cluster and am leaning towards red.

Wolftrk99 01-06-2017 12:41 PM

i almost did red in a suburban I should have kept but ended up selling, older Pontiacs used to have reddish dashes and switches..looks good if done right, if I had to do all mine over again I think I would go with either purple (to match the truck) or green just to be different, seems the go to led is blue

Did you bypass the factory starter wiring to run your push button switch?
Bout to wire up my XFI and was debating on keeping the key start or just going push button.
Thoughts?

Basically stock C3 interior, outside of the steering wheel, Escalade instrument cluster and shift lever.
