Question for you HD front end guys. Another selling point for me wanting to go to that grille is the fact that it looks so much bigger for my trans to get more airflow to the cooler. Did any of you see any lower trans temps going with the larger opening grille?

I've got to do this mod soon. I love the HD grille over my all to common Tahoe grille.

 

I did, but I also went to a different tranny cooler and moved it from partially behind the bumper to fully in the grill opening. It provided more open area to fit both the intercooler and trans cooler in the grill opening.

 

Heres mine all done yesturday all i need is new head lights and bowtie...

 

Im on the process to do the HD conversion I found the hood but its a copy on the factory one in fibre is the grille and upper bumper trim the only thing I need to finish the conversion?

 

if you're using the grill, you need to lower your bumper brackets to accommodate it.
