Wasnt really sure the vibe of this forum, seems to be alot of American made stuff, but i figured id share anyway. Here my truck. 78 Toyota Hilux with a LM4 LS. BTR stage 2 LS3 cam, Dual valve springs and chromemoly pushrods. Edelbrock pro-flo4 efi kit, NV3500 trans. Explorer 8.8 rear, 3.83 LSD.
Bought this truck about a month ago... 04 6.0 lq9, power interior leveled with shackles... got it with 20in tahoe wheels got rid of them and put my stock SS wheels on... tranny slips on 3-4 so it’s still not fully drivable but it’s in the works 👍
That's cool! What are you going to do to strengthen the frame?
Well i plated the front in about 3in past the motor mounts. As far as the rear, I plan on doing a 4link, and ill plate the entire backhalf at the same time. Id like to tube it, but im not that skilled with a bender yet. Im a decent fabricator, and i can bend for bumpers and stuff, but when it comes to making frame bits, i want it to be perfect lol
After years of reading this forum, I finally decided to make an account. Here's a few of one of my trucks, the other ain't worth posting.
Clean looking truck!
What kind of hose is that coming off the CAI? No issues with it trying to collapse under vacuum? How far does it go under the box picking up the cold air? Also where is the MAF or are you running speed density only?

The hose came from a plastics factory that I worked at. It's designed for high vacuum or pressure. It was used on a vacuum system that pulls resin throughout the plant. MAF is right behind the air filter. Here's a couple more pics of it.
