i want to buy a ram air hood for my 2001 tahoe but i don't know if it will look good.

if any of u guys have already bought them and have pics with it installed please post them, i would like to get some ideas

is your hood fiberglass or steel ? are u happy with it ?

ws6 style....non functional....but the procharger makes up for it!

 

i would like it to be functioning, but if i can get a real good deal on a non functioning one then i will take that too.

 

Fiberglass, I am very happy with it. The weight shaving is unreal. I may be the only 'tech member that has a truck under 4,000lbs

 

I got a functional fiberglass goodmark ram air WS6 style hood painted black on my 01 RCSB silverado right now. If your tahoe is black, maybe we can make a deal. I am actually thinking about selling the truck so you can see the pics of the hood in the classifieds under the post: My truck RCSB 5.3. Let me know what you think. If i keep the truck, im going to get something less aggressive like a cowl hood and get rid of the tauneau cover so i can haul my quad and my dirtbike. Anyone wanna trade a cowl for my ram air or buy my A.R.E. tauneau? Both in excellent condition!!!

i just actually found the ad, i was thionking about getting a single scoop....yours is the dual....that is the hood that looks like gorrilla nostrals.

is it possible u can email me pics of it during the day, can't really tell how it is cause the pics are dark. also what do u want for it.
