30k? Wow I don't think I have ever seen a set that high. Do they do a decent job lighting up the road? Been told by a few manufactures that the more color the less light they actually put out

Yeah, they have quite a bit of blue to them for sure. They aren't really bright, but a lot better than my stock lights. That being said, a few months back, driving the Sonoma, I nailed a hitch receiver that someone lost out of the back of their truck. I didn't even see it with the stock lights, it blended into the pavement. After many dents to the under side, and a punctured gas tank, I figured I should do something for headlights.
Here is a few pictures beside my silverado. The HID's in the silverado I THINK are 35w 5k. They are 2-3 years old, I don't remember for sure what they are.
