gotta love that pewter color, i remember i had the first one in 97 (98model) at the dealer.

so what do you plan on doing first? performance? appearence?

 

yea, i will never own another black truck!!
I'm going to go with appearance 1st, not too sure whether to mod up the 4.8 with a few bolt ons and juice...
or drop a 6.0 block in it later on.... guess time will tell.
i'm not trying to go crazy fast, but a mid 13 would be nice for me.

 

what's that ugly little round pipe sticking out behind the back tire? i've never seen one of those before but it's gotta go.

 

hey santi, how nice of you to join us again. first off, if you go with appearance, i nominate that back end to take a few inches towards the ground. take a few extra bucks and buy some clear corners. and get the amber bicycle reflectors outta those headlights while your at it . oh yeah, and you might wanna make a stash for a new hood too...or just get in a tiny accident and let the insurrance pay you for a new hood like me . bottom line, it's a nice truck, good color. my mom just bought a yukon in a similar color and that thing never looks dirty.

 

If your gona' go with looks first, the ugly round pipe is kinda' out of place. Do the 'free exhaust mod' and get some sound to it. Nice job on the step side, hell of a light waight way to spend $800.oo. Th color is good, got a pewter on in my town with a cadi clip an it look nice. I alway felt the Escalade door handles look really good on pewter.

 

Yea, I do need to get rid of the stock exhaust for sure.
I chose the pewter because it seems like an easy color to keep clean and looks good.

Probably put a borla one in two out muffler with dumps like I had on my Z71, sounded real good.

Going to get the chrome mirrors and escalade handles and paint all the black plastic around the truck pewter to match the body. I'll be sending out some money tomorrow to get some 2" drop shackles for the back already also.

Also will probably be ordering a billet grille for the front and clear corners and take the reflector out of the headlights. Hopefully in about 3 months I'll be done with all my exterior mods with the exception of a major drop.
Not sure to leave the bumper or put a roll pan on it.

 

To bad you dont live in Cal. But if you make the drive out I will trade you my chrome mirrors for your black ones.
