Default Pics of my 69' C10 Stepside w/ cammed 5.3L/4L60E

Thought I'd show you guys my truck that I completely built up from the ground up. Started off as a free project truck off craigslist (short bed frame, cab, vin and title). I then completely restored it over the last almost 3 years basically and drove it to my graduation May 2009! Started off with a Straight six and granny gear 4 speed with a 3.73 posi trac. I decided to get rid of the six and the 4 speed and go with a 5.3L out of a 2002 chevy truck with a 4l60e. Redid the wiring harness and wired it all up. Did all the body work myself and my dad painted it in the carport homemade paint booth. Then last winter I installed a comp cam's LSR series cam 215/223 duration 604/610 lift on a 112 lsa. That really woke it up! But I plan on pulling the 5.3 this winter and building a 6.0 for it.
Anyway here's the pics!

Well the 5.3's got stock heads (918 springs and 7.4 hardened pushrods) and stock converter lol......but I was thinking of going to a LQ9....with a cam and maybe put on some L92 heads with LS3 intake, but I'm not sure where that would get it and while the motor is out put in a converter. Also this is sort of low budget... lol send some more ideas my way if you can think of different build...

If you find a 6.0 cheap, go for it! Before you do that, get a good converter in there. You'll be surprised what the 5.3 can do.

I was looking at Circle D's 3000-3200 converters, since there a pretty good deal. Also for some reason my 5.3 is developing a rear main oil seal leak I think which is annoying because it only has about 50k miles from the original truck it came out of. But yes I know where I can get a LQ9 6.0 for a pretty good deal so I might jump on that and see where it goes from there.
