Ok, I hate to take such a huge loss but I would like some wheels which
1) Aren't such a Pain in the A** to keep clean.
2) Are backspaced 5.5" to tuck my tires in under the fenders.
3) Are 17" , 6 lug GMC pattern.
4) Don't weigh a ton and 1/2.
What to get? And what can I sell my Weld's for?? The only abuse they've seen is from other's hands, no rashes!

Well, if you want something easy to clean you need either chrome or painted wheels. backspacing will depend on the width of the wheel, but a 8" wheel with 5.5" backspacing would work well and as you go up in width, the backspacing should increase the same amount.
Are you looking for any design in particular? What about a stock style? I have always thought the stock silverado 17" wheels look good. Is price an issue? You could go with some custom billets and have either the centers painted with a polished lip, or just paint/chrome the whole thing. I'll look around and see what I can find.

I dont think the stock wheels (which I still have) can support the 285/60's that i'm running, can they?
$$ is definately a factor but wheels are a big part of the truck, I dont want cheap looking!

I don't know if these match all of what you're looking for, but Eagle Alloy 219's or Boyd Coddington Timless 6's are my picks.
Edit: I found some pics of both. Awesome looking wheels!

Both of those wheels weigh nothing and they have a clean, simple design.
Is this true. I wanted 18x8 for the front and 18x9.5 for the back..
