Default Painted Vortec Engine Cover

Anyone done this? Pics?

Going to attempt mine this weekend.... just wanted to get an idea of what it'll look like.

Is that a custom made cover?? I've never seen a cover for the alternator.

I think those are the side pieces of an Escalade engine cover

Well, I have to ask. I have been thinking about doing this myself too, but was unsure. now that I have seen some, I really must do this too. What was the method that you had to do this. How did you smooth out the engine cover? Does anybody have like a step by step method to do this or any advice for a guy who'd like to try this for the first time? They all look really great by the way.
