Painted interiors are cool and so are body kits some people just have different opinons.
painted interiors are way cooler though...bodykits are for cars....shrimp fried rice is like my favorite food.
actually you can buy an Xtreme without the cladding. its called a ZQ8. And the trucks dont roll off the assembly line with kits and etc installed. An X amount of trucks are sent to another manufactor then shipped off to the lots.

nice try son

Regardless...you go to the dealer, you buy a Xtreme. Thats a factory body kit as far as I am concerned.

thats fine but same can be said about other things referencing your truck. also buying an entire "kit" i can see but who actually has an entire "kit" i dont see many ppl running a Xexon kit. quite a few trucks on here with the SS skirts... but as for aftermarket every cladding you see on a truck is NON-factory

I think alot of the "body kits" look good, they are all kits that come as an option from the dealer and do a fine job at smoothing out the bottom of the truck and help make these tall trucks look shorter. Wide body kits on a truck would be a whole different story.

Painted interior to me is more and more common because of the movie fast n furious. Which is why he said its "ricey" he didn't say you shouldn't do it or that your vehicle is riced out, he's just giving you his opinion, which i believe is what you wanted. He's not gonna lie to you and say it looks great and then go throw up.

I believe it can look real good if you stayed with quieter colors and took the time to make all the interior flow together. But thats me, I don't like a loud interior while others do. As far is i go personally is seat and steering wheel covers.

Real nice job on the paint tho and hopefully with time you can pull it all together nicely. Like to see the installed look.

Side note. if you don't like someones opinion just nod and appreciate that they were honest. you don't have to turn around and start bashing the look of that persons vehicle. The point in posting is to get HONEST opinions right?

What is rice about a 6.7 liter truck? I think "rice" is a 4.8 liter truck w/ 2 tone paint and a lime green flame jfwy

That was a funny a$$ couple post

despite what other people say I think it looks great, when I get my truck painted arrival blue, Im going to get some of the interior peices colour matched, what was your process of doing this?

Sand a lot. I started with 150 then 220 then 400. I found wet sanding worked better with the 400. Remember any flaw you can see or feel will show through. After sanding prime the piece. I did 2 coats of primer.
Let the primer dry long enough to wet sand it with 400 grit(about 12-24 hours). Then paint, I did 4 color coats. After the paint is dry, wet sand again this time I used 600 grit. Then clearcoat I did 4 coats of clear. After the clear I used 1200 grit to wet sand. After the wet sand buff it out. I used a pruduct called race glaze. I don't know when or where I got it but it worked really good for hand buffing. The big thing is to take your time and do it right the first time. It sucked sanding everything but that's the key to making it look nice.
Also don't forget to prep before each step of painting.

well Ive never painted anything before, and I got a few spare rear bumper caps to practice on. So whats the prep step between each coat of paint? what kind of paint/primer did you use? How good of a spray gun?
