Default painted door handles

does anyone know where I can buy some painted door handles??? someone told me that I cannot paint the ones I have on now because the paint does not stick to it good??? suggestions???

thats bullshit.sand them down primer and paint.i have the front grill shell painted black like my truck now for over a year with no peeling.

That, or buy the painted ones from GM, they sell them already painted for the denali's, burban's, and tahoe's.

i got the part # for white front ones,does anyone have the rear part# for crew cabs or sub's?

no offense but unless your Local GM Dealer are ****** you can get them considerably cheaper.

I payed around 21.95 per handle and 20 for a tailgate bezel. The tailgate handle I would sand and paint because it's only a little part thats shown.


it would hurt to try.

I'd say try the dealership for the already smooth painted ones like someone said in here already. Then try gmpartsdirect, but the shipping and the cost of the handles may equal out to going to the dealership and picking them up.

AP, just go to the Chevy dealership on 45 and Beltway 8 over by Scarsdale exit, they have a good parts department there.
