clean... how did you get rid of the holes where the tailgate cap screwed on to the tailgate. Cause im about to smooth my tailgate and want to know how its done.

I bought the gate already done. I just painted it. I was going to do mine but found this one at a price I couldnt refuse. I was just going to tack weld the holes untill they were pretty well filled(You dont want to get the metal to hot cause it may warp the gate skin), grind them down a little and then put the sanding wheel on it. Then I was going to bondo and putty til smooth.
