I REALLY love Flat black, and am thinking about painting my truck that color.. but I'm scared of how it would look.

reason is is because I'm getting a keystone ram-air hood with some money I got from some recent hail damage and have a little left over to spend on a roll pan and then some paint work.... can anyone find a side view picture of an 03 ext cam with stock wheels and photoshop it flat black????

I don't even know if this can be done....I also want to paint the lower valance to match whatever color i go with.

Bump for you, I love satin black rides too. If you search this forum for those words you might find a thread a started a few years ago requesting pics of satin black rides. I may have also used the words "street rod velvet" or "hot rod velvet".

 

check out Rob Dyrdeck's (from Rob and Big) NNBS Tahoe...murdered out flat black....looks sick..

 

I couldnt bring myself to do this

 

The only problem with flat is that it chalks up, so when you touch it your hand will be black and will get all over your clothes, had mine painted flat once.

 

I think it would look great on a rcsb. Don't think it would look that great on an extended cab or 4 door.
