Default Paint Job?

how much does a non fancy paint job often cost? Im looking at buying a 1989 GMC sierra RGSB 4x4 and it needs paint, how much would it cost approx? Im looking at black or something like victory red?

depends....If the painter is good it wont be cheap. The best kind of painting take a while. A good perp. make a great paint job. I've been painting now fo a few years, finally got into cars last year. I've done a few...It's not cheap trust me.

body shops hate all over paint jobs. they can make more money for doing a door panel then an allover. You have to wait till they are not busy then they may take it. probly get a better price if they are slow.

I planned on either painting it black or victory red, so I can exspect to pay around 2-3 thousand. Not to bad I guess, considering it can make or break the look of the truck

Word on the 2-3k for a quality paint job. If you have the skill and time, prep it yourself and bring it to Macco. They do shitty prep work but they lay paint pretty decent, and it will cost a ton less.
