I have an maroon 01 Sierra and I need some advice on some colors that will look good on top of the maroon. I was thinking about painting the top of the truck (starting at the hood and going down a few inches onto the fenders and all the way back to the bed) I want to paint the roof and everthing. If any body has the Oct issue of Sport Truck there is a good example of what I'm talking about on Page 110. I know it's a ford but thats about right. The only difference would be that I am putting the denali front end so I 'm not painting the grill. I just kind of want some good colors that will look good on the maroon. If anybody has some pics that would be great. THANKS!!!

 

I think a silver or pewter color would look good.

 

i would say a dark gray.

Any of the above mentioned colors, a really nice white pearl may look good also.

Also what about the pinstripe color and size?? I dont have much experience with paint jobs and stuff sorry about all the questions!!!!

 

I have been talking to some people about the paint scheme on my truck and everybody seems to think black on top of maroon. I dont have photoshop so I cant try the colors can someone help. Also I was thinking that new carbon metallic from GMC. THANKS

 

I say silver. You said black, I think that will be too dark of a combination. I wouldnt go with a metallic color on top if the maroon isnt matallic as well. just my 2 cents
