I am redoing the tailpipe on my truck because my old one was hitting the rear end. I am doing dual tips out the back kinda like my old single setup. So what do you think about this location?
Keep in mind that tip is not 100% cenetered on the pipe, this is just for mockup. Also the tip is covered with tape so it doesn't get scratched up. The other side will look exactly like the drivers side.

To low and to far forward. If I ever run my tips over the axle again, they will be dumped right in the corner of the bedside and rollpan. Might see 1/4" to 1/2" of the tip hanging down but thats it.

That is what i was thinking, time to go drill some holes...
You gotta remember my truck is lowered and those pics were taken with me kneeling down on the ground, they only stick down about 1 inch.

So i moved them back as far as i could, any further and it would hit on the piece that holds the shackle. I am trying to tuck the pipes up so you never see them... Here are some progress pics, i am done for today it is just toooo damn hot.. If you can't tell exhaust is one of my favorite things to do, This will make about the 7th time i have changed my exhaust on my truck.
