This is my Ex's truck. She is trying to decide on getting the chrome mirrors covers that the upper trim models come with. I think it would finish the truck off. What do you guys think??

came off my 01 silverado

 

all you need is the chrome mirror caps they just snap in, not the whole mirrors. I took mine off my dad's '02 and snapped them on mine

 

You asked for opinions so I'm givin mine. I can't stand chrome on most trucks. What you have on there already looks good, but the mirrors would just be too much. Leave 'em black or paint the whole mirror not just the caps to match the truck. That would look great.

 

oh yeah forgot to give my opinion, I also hate chrome,(thats why I have the chrome mirrors for sell) I like it when the vehicle is all one color

What drop is that? Looks good! I would put some Street Scene mirrors on there and get rid of the dumbo's. I'm taking mine off prolly Mon, or Tues. and putting some on. Just waiting for them to be painted. I'd also debadge it too.

I am usually not a fan of chrome at all either but for some reason I like it on these trucks. Almost all my other cars were chrome free. i even took the chrome wheels of my T/A and put silver ones on. Although my Vette looks perfect with the factory chrome Y2Ks

Ohh, it is the standard DJM 4/6 drop. I think she had to put some Air Flex bags in the back for towing her dirt bike though.

 

I heard that when you paint the mirror part that is black like on your truck, you are no longer able to fold the mirror in is that true?
