I found this one on Ebay, check it out. I didn't know if you were after a fiberglass or steel hood, but the price seems good. (??)

I just installed mine today. I got the dominator 2.5" cowl hood. I think that it makes the truck look alot better, since putting it on about 4 hours ago, I have already had 5 compliments. I have a feeling alot of my friends are going to buy hoods now. I would stay away from the shaker, alot of money, and I've seen one, not really functional.

Not really worried about functionality of the hood, but may make it function once its on the truck. Thanks

East Coast Customs vendor at Cruisin the Coast in Boloxi, MS. regularly off the net they are around 660 or 700 shipped. Show price was $425, but 2 buddies got some hoods from them at the same time i did so we haggled them down to $370 a piece The hoods previously posted that are sold on ebay do not have openings in the scoops, you have to cut them out if you want to fab up a functional ram air setup. East coast custom scoops are open and have holes in the rear (about the size of golf ball) that are on the underside of the hood towards the intake cover. Also East coast customs has more of a cowl than the one on ebay or the goodmark hood which has little to no cowl effect. IMO the East coast is the only one i've seen that looks proportional from all angles. just my opinion tho.

I don't like the shaker hood AT ALL. I really like the Keystone hood for the Chevys, but they obviously won't fit on the GMC.

The only other hood that I like is the Goodmark steel cowl induction hood.

I've always liked the look of a cowl hood, but everybody in my area that has a aftermarket hood has a cowl. Just want to be different. Plan on ordering something in the next week or 2 so I'll let you guys know, Thanks for the feedback!

So get a bigger cowl hood lol.

I dont like the looks of either the WS6 style or the shaker style AT ALL. GAG!! To me, cowls are by far the most attractive on the trucks
