I tried to re-candy my tails today to get the black seperation lines to disappear. Upon spraying them I found that in order to get rid of the black lines I had to paint it pretty heavy to get it to cover. Well it just went to hell after that, the spray can started spitting and making paint bubbles on the tails. So I scraped them back to stock and used paint reducer which took all day and one bad razor blade cut to my thumb that bled like a ****.
So I called up my buddy that works at a Chevy dealer and I'm getting some 03 tails for $100.00 tomorrow.

On another note, I went to a PPG store today and bout a pint of silver birch and some other **** including some clear coat to repaint my front bumper scratches. This time my old man is going to do the painting since he's been doing it for 30+ years

 

stupid ***. and i have a set of 03 tails that i would of sold to you for $50 hoe. Also how much would your dad charge to some handles and mirror pewter

 

do they have the red or black outline? either way I'll take 'em from you for $50 tomorrow.
