I want to get my lower valance painted, you think i should stick to the stock one or get this one from stylin concepts..

get the one you posted .stock one will flake if its not prepped right. also since its a textured piece it will have a dull look to it unless you build up and then your more likely to have flake

i never said body filler. i know my ways around the bodyshop. did alot of it on my truck. you can use a high build primer and block it down. honestly waste of time. and it will flake. grills dont flex as much as the lower valance does. also flex agent is only good for so many hours before you apply the part to the vehicle. if it stayed flexable forever then the paint wouldnt fully harden properly. and im not talking about flaking from flexing either im just talking about how its a textured part and when hit with stones and etc it will flake alot easier then a smoothed piece woulld. if stock was smooth then yes paint it since its not then buy aftermarket. but to each their own

what did fogle charge you to do yours, you think i will have to send him mine or he can pick up one that looks like my stock one???

Thats why you dont use body filler then paint it you sand it down then paint it and use a flex agent in the paint so it wont chip if done correctly you wont have this problem. Get foglemotorsports to do it he knows his **** he did my grille surround and top bumper cover still look good after 5-6 months
