Offset and tire size question for Silverado SS.
I currently have aftermarket wheels on my tuck that are 22x9.5 and the tires are 305x40x22. Not sure of the offset with these aftermarket wheels since its at the shop still. Ive read to go with atleast a 30MM offset.. The wheels Im wanting to get since my others are for sale, have a offset of either 15mm or 35mm. I have read to go with 30mm and have seen more of a offset. The truck is lowered, and has already bounced in the rear and bent up inner fender lip. Plenty of people run the 305x40 tires with 22's with no issue, and even wider. Im being told to go with the factory size width of 275 which I dont want to do. Would like to know if the 35mm offset will fit ok. The truck has a Baer big brake kit on it. calipers and brackets and all.
Any input would be helpful before ordering.

Launching!
I had 295/35/24’s on 24x10 with I believe a 30mm offset and fitment was perfect, on a 3/4 drop. I now have a 20x9.5 wheel on a 295/40/20 with a 15mm offset and they also seem to be a perfect fitment.
A 35mm offset might start pushing the inside of the wheel a little close to the chassis, fender wells. If so you can always throw on a hubcentric 5mm spacer.

Ok thank you, wouldnt my wheel size be a contributor be a issue? I also have a 3/4 drop. Tire sizes are limited with my wheel size and get real expensive, then I add in the price of my wheels and im spending tons of money.

I just found a set of Milanni Custom wheels with a 25mm offset that will work. Has anyone here had any experience with Milanni wheels?
