Have a G30 myself (compact .45). Put countless rounds through it, never any problems. As stated before, ammo has a lot to do with jamming. I stick to Hornady, Speer, or Federal. Seem to have the best luck with those brands, no matter the caliber.

I have to agree that ammo quality makes a big difference.
I had a G37 45 Gap and put about 400 rounds threw it and it shot flawlessly and accurate.

My .22 Walther P90 would jam up a lot when I used the cheap Blocks of Federal ammo from walmart. If I used CCI it never had any issues.
