I think I need a cowl hood.... Any opinions, trying to decide what visual mods to do this year.

I have painted engine covers that I am finishing up they are just not on yet. I was going to do aftermarket tails but I keep hearing about people having issues with water getting in them... I dont know

 

Nice looking truck. If anything, I would do 2005 Silverado tails, and clear the corners on the front. I'm not crazy about cowl hoods, but they do look good on some trucks. If I had that truck, and I'd love to, I wouldn't do anything to it....except lose the chrome door handle covers. That's a nice ride!

 

Nice look truck. I'd skip the cowl good. Go with 04+ sily tails, clear corners, bedside lights, and cab light would really set that thing off. I dont know how fond you are of them, but if it were me I would get rid of the steps as well. If I'm not mistaken denalis come with painted handles, if thats the case, hell, even if its not the case, I would ditch the chrome handle covers as well.

 

03+ tails. Clear the front lights. Tint the cab and fender clearance lights. Ditch the chrome handles, tube step bumpers, mudflaps, and front license plate box. Tint the front windows. This is what I would do, but you're the guy driving it and making the payment.

 

Damn good lookin truck Im with everyone else loose the chrome handles but I vote for the cowl hood

 

Well I like the handles, I always have not sure why The steps dont really bother me however the misses will throw a **** fit if I take them off. She hates stepping up into it without the nerf bars on... so. I like the idea of the new silverado tails, where is a good place to get them from? As far as the lights, I was going to go that route with clear however I cannot find any reasonable prices on the cab light covers or anything for the side clearance lights. I found cab lights that are clear however they dont sell the lenses just the whole light Any more ideas?

8MC- I live in PA, if you seen the roads here you would understand why the mud flaps are on it. They are a must in PA our roads suck, as for the license plate box on the front our state is in the process of mandating front plates so it is there to stay.... I cant stand it either but oh well. As for the front windows- I would LOVE to black them out however another great PA law, NO TINT on the front windows unless a factory option. Its sucks.

 

I'll say it again,.....Bad *** Truck! I think you're on the right track. As for the handles and steps, to each his own.
