Default New wheels

Hey everybody, putting 16's on the truck makes it look a whole lot different, at least to me. I'm not too sure that I like how it looks. This setup will be for the 1/4 mile this summer. On the plus size, they are a whole lot lighter. Tire size is 275/70R16, treadwear rating 240, hopefully they will stick.

Tell me what you think.

It's definatly a change...I don't think it looks that bad, plus the weight difference will be nice at the track. What brand are those tires?

They are Mastercraft Avenger 4x4. Mastercraft is a division of Cooper Tires. Made in the U.S.A. They have a directional tread, and they seem to drive nicely.

I like them...that's the same size tire I run in the winter, the truck is definitely faster than when I have my summer 285/50-20 Joe Gibbs on.

I like the truck... I don’t know about the wheels. You went all out on everything else. I figure a nice set of 17" Torque Thrusts would set it off nice if you can find a good tire for them.
