I would definately be a lot easier for Silver-Mod-O to pick the wheels up but please keep me in the loop. Odds are I will have to pass as I'm buying a ton of crap for my truck (Pacesetters, HP Tuners, about to buy springs and pushrods....) but let me know when you decide something.

That is a nice color, easier to keep clean and light scratches/swirls are less noticable.

Thanks man. I know what you mean about spinning the tires under 20mph, gotta be careful in the rain too because I don't get ***** worth of traction. If I could lower the back a little bit more it wouldn't look as bad but I never could find anything to level it out without the back being lower than the front.

I've been thinking about removing the small leaf from the spring pack. My friend at work has a 1999 Silverado 4.8 without the tow package...BONE STOCK...and it sits level with mine even with the shackles on mine I'm pretty sure he has one less leaf in the pack.

Definately food for thought. Do the spring packs come apart easily or would I be better off getting some used ones from a junkyard and have my stock set if I need stock springs put back on?

I'm not sure, I haven't really dug into it. I'm gonna check his as soon as I can, and get a count on the leaves. If he put the shackles on his truck it would sit the way I'd like mine to, but I'm not sure why. I haven't heard anyone around here mention it before....I'll try to search it.

good deal man, keep us posted. I'm gonna go to my local chop shop and see if I can get some springs off a wrecked truck and go to work on them.

Go ahead and remove those springs if you want ****.... but be ready for some wheel hop with those lighter shoes + 6.0L + TT3000.... I'm about ready to go crazy with my wheel hop issues because of this very thing.... if you dont have plans to do cal-tracs, I'd leave 'em and look for other ways to get a little more drop IMO...

Do the 4.8 trucks without the tow package come with a different spring pack??? His truck is definately as low as mine, and I've got a 2" shackle on mine, and his is stock. What's the story??? I don't have any wheel hop issues now and I don't want any. Thanks for the warning.
