I used to have 275/55/17's also, and they were 28.9" and looked a bit small also on my truck since I only have the 2" shackle drop. These are 275/60/17's which are 30.2" tall, real close to stock height. I debated on going with a 285/60/17, but thought they'd be a bit tall for a 2wd truck, and I only have a 3.42 gear, so performance would suffer. These are exactly what I wanted. If I had a lowered 4x4 or even a bit more gear, I would have went with the 285's.

Possibly. I need to get them cleaned up and some pics. posted. They don't have any curb rash or damage whatsoever, and the tires still have a ton of tread left, but there are a couple of pits in the chrome (which may wax out), which is unnoticeable until you are like 2ft in front and staring at them. I'll clean them up and post some pics. I'll let you and Frito Bandito know first, although you are alot closer geographically speaking and would be more capable of meeting.....if we were going to make a deal. I'll get to them this weekend and get back to ya.

285/50/20's. Maybe a little tall for your drop ??? I might have someone local for the tires if you only wanted the wheels. Let me get after them this weekend and I'll holla back at ya....and Frito also

I could work with those but a 275/45 would be best... I would rub a little with a 285/50 just because of the height... sounds good though, Thanks!!

Not trying to thread hijack, but I just wanted to post a couple pics of the 275/55s so people can compare. I wish there was a comparison between the two when I bought mine. All I have is a 2" shackle in the back also.

Pics are kinda bright but you get the idea.

Thanks! I either wanted this color or Pewter Silver, which looked more gold to me than silver
I think they are easier to keep clean. Buying used, I had to take what I could get....and felt lucky to find one this color

Thanks for posting the pics! Great looking truck. I just didn't like the extra wheel gap between the fenders and tires, especially in the rear. Also, I have a hard time with traction, so the taller tire helps as it reduces the gear a bit. It snowed here today, and after backing out of the driveway I "jazzed" it a bit just to flash the converter and it didn't even spin. The old tires would spin in the rain from anything under 20mph, so these are a HUGE improvement. I guess the other tires were wore out.
