New Toyo Size... I think.

Toyo Proxes S/T sport tuck--I think this is a new size or Do any of you have them yet?
Looks like a perfect size for 20" tire with Hotchkis 2-4 drop. Same size as 275-45-20, Goodyear GT II, wich I have now.
255/45-20, Overal height is 29.6, another plus is that spec sheet has them as weighing 33lbs, a lot lighter than the other 20" sizes.
With a centerline wheel that would put you in the 55-60 range.
link to spec sheet.

I am also wanting to buy new tires similiar to that size but want to stay away from Toyo. The tires I have now are 265/50/20 Toyo Proxes and I am very unhappy with them. I just seem to have traction problems with them.

Well, according to some online tire size calculators the 255/45/20 tire is 29.04" and a 275/45/20 is 29.74" in diameter. Not much of a difference IMO for the cost of the new tire. But, if you need that extra .7" of cleareance (or weight reduction, which can't be that much) go for it!

The caculator is alittle off for the toyo's, There big tread gives them alittle more height. The size I got was off there spec sheet. I would definately go for the Toyo's over the goodyears again but there alot more in price.
