Question New Steering wheel and airbag

I just got a new factory leather wheel to replace my regular wheel in my 99 Sierra NBS I am kinda hesitant on messing with the airbag system to take it out should I let a dealer do it or should I attempt it on my own any help would be appreciated.

Not hard
Make sure to disconnect the battery.
I also use a set of alligator clips and a wire to keep myself grounded - in case of static elect when sliding in/and out of the seat.
Not hard to do.
Pull the airbag - make sure to point away from you when handling and
make sure to lay it down - with the bag face up
Pull the wheel - install the new wheel
Install the bag
Reconnect the battery
Turn the key on - SRS light should go out.

Appreciate the help man I just got through doing the swap all in all it was pretty easy I was just cautious when handling the airbag. The leather wheel looks ten times better and feels better.
