I have 6K and a different year truck, but your options are pretty limited for mounting options just by virtue of the short distance the wires off the bulb will go. There's usually room on a radiator support, or near the inner fender well.

Installation is pretty simple, there's only so many variables you can play with; two connectors off the bulb that have tabbed connectors, but on the ballast there's a 9006 style plug that has polarity, so if you connect the factory connector to it and the bulbs don't light, turn that connection around to switch the polarity and that usually solves the problem.

Go here and download the pdf; it's for 9006 style bulbs that you should have in your lows. https://www.ddmtuning.com/support/in...emid=2&nav=0,1

If you don't already, a relay kit and pulling the DRL fuses is advisable.
