I'll be adding a goodmark cowl hood in a couple of months and when I do I've been toying with the idea of either going with a 2-tone scheme, racing stripes, or single stripe. My biggest dilemma is trying to figure out what color goes with pewter that IS NOT black.

So, what say you PT.....What would be a good color to go with if I did decide to stripe / 2 tone the truck?

 

If your going to do it, might as well make it a 2 stripe.....But man pewter is a hard color if not going with black....

I really dont know what color for the two tone, but i think a bright orange line would look good seperating the two colors.

 

I know it's going to be next to impossible to find a color other than black to match the pewter, but I figured it'd be worth a shot.

 

id say silver or arival blue would be sick

 

Two tone, pewter on the bottom and use the ZO6 VETTE orange on the top...

How about Cadillac Crystal Red (on CTS V's) or a Brandy Wine. My uncle is building a '40 Ford truck and two toning it using the CTS V red and a color very close to Chevy truck pewter. Personally, I think those two look very good together.
