I am trying to make my mind up on how to paint my dually. I am between a two toned style with the top black and a ailver bottom with a black stripe dividing and going with a 19.5 wheel, or going all black with some pinstriping or red hot rod style flames and keeping the stock wheels and just leaving them black or painting them red. Anyway if anyone could help me out that would be awesome. Here is the truck
this is the two toned look I would go for. Black on the top with silver and blue on the bottom

the color schem i was going to go with (changed mind tho) was all black truck with OX blood flames (hotrod style) with 3 ounces of red flake in it (like a bass boat) from front to mid bed.

Don't really know about the whole bass boat deal.....I want something simple I think. I am thinking all black with a simple flame. I am leaning away from the two tone since my wife's Yukon is two toned already.

Hugger Orange flames? LOL
Seriously, the more I think about it, I would go back with a fresh clean coat of black. The top of the raised portion of the hood in a satin black. Just enough contrast to catch your eye, but still have nice clean black beauty. Maybe some sort of satin black stripe down the side.
I would leave the wheels as is until you can jump to the 19.5's. I think red wheels look awesome on black vehicles, but with the openings on the dually wheels it might look a little cheap. As is, the openings in the wheels don't stand out very much. Now if you could find some solid wheels without openings, and some sort of smooth dog dish type centers that would work on a dually, then I think red wheels would be the ticket. There doesn't seem to be a lot of options for dually center caps.

There is a Chevelle for sale on here in the For Sale section. I sent pictures of it to Clyde and asked him about a style like that on my truck with all the chrome bumpers and grilles painted black. With the black wheels it has now will work well until I throw the 19.5s on. The interior might very well have a grey close to the grey flames and red top stitching to match the red of the true fire. I love flames and the way that Chevelle is done is perfect I think for the look I am going after. Unless I change my mind (which is possible) and leave it alone for now.

Yes, that car is a sexy bitch!!! I want those style flames on my solid black dually. I also sent that car to my interior guy....so he is also on board and in love with the idea. So can someone photochop that stripe on my dually please.
