Default Need some help

I have a friend that bought a used drop kit from a guy on the site and the guy that was going to put the drop on for him told him everything in the box was stock. I'm going to look over the parts tomorrow morning for him, but I havent ever seen hotchkis drop parts. Should they have a hotchkis sticker or any kind of hotchis markings on any of the parts? I know my Belltech drop springs said belltech on them. Thanks.

The coils and leafs come with stickers on them. They are powdercoated black too. It should be easy to tell unless the guy powdercoated his stock ones black and sold them

Man that bites, those type of things shouldnt happen amongts friends. I think you can pretty much tell the diff from aftermarket parts to stock ones. Hope he bought it from someone in person and not through the internet (ebay, yahoo, etc). I just got my truck dropped with a beltech kit and kept the stock parts, and they do look somewhat different. Pay the guy a visit if he doesnt want to return your friends money.

well I looked at them, no hotchkis stickers, but the front springs are black powdercoated and the leafs out back are completely different from stock.
So I think he has what he needs.

How tall are the "Hotchkis" springs. I will measure my stock springs tonight for a comparison.
