Need new tires for summer
#1
I don't normally like to ask everyone for their opinion but I'm a little torn.
It's spring time and the snow is almost all gone and I need a new set of tires. I was looking at a set of Cooper discoverer H/T's but I can't decide weather or not I want to stick with 275/55r20's or go down to a 275/45r20. the truck is a 99 rcsb 4x4 with a 2ish/4 drop on LTZ 20's (as seen in my sig). I am not sure if the 45 series will look funny or not... also would the ride smoothness be a drastic difference? any insight or pics of a similar set-up would be appreciated!
-Cheers

Being as you're 2/4 from 4wd height... you're pretty much the same height as a 2wd with just lowering shackles.
Here is my old 2wd with 2/4 drop (spindles, hangers, shackles) with 275/45/20s... essentially 2" lower than yours all around. I think they'd be too small for your height so I'd do as stated above and go 265/50s... since your 4wd you shouldn't need a 285
