Default Need help deciding...

I want to lower my truck, but I want to do 2" all the way around. I want to keep some rake, not just make it level like everyone does. What would be the best way to do this? I was trying to do it relatively cheap too. I was considering hotchkis gear but I don't want to give a leg for it.

take leaf springs out of the back, and remember the cheapest way you do it the harder the ride will be.

Whatcha mean cheaper the harder? If I use springs in front and shackles or hangers in the back, won't it be ok? Can I still use the stock shocks?
