Default Need advice

might be gettin a 02 silverado.. the only thing its a long bed....the bed needs to be replaced.... would i be able to put a small bed or a sportside bed on it? thnks

You'll have to cut the frame, and shorten it in the middle. You can't just whack it off the end! Also the d-shaft will have to be shortened. The springs will be a problem too, I think the mounting points will have to be changed. Good time for a 4-link though.

Why not just get a replacement long bed. I've always though longbeds were somewhat but it depends what you use the truck for. Sounds like more work than it's worth.

gas tank is differetn to............nothing wrong w/ a logn bed........be different from everybod else......i have alot sweet obs longbeds and a few nbs btw

my father in law has a long bed reg cab. hell he gets picked on more than i do. put a long bed on it and slam it. it will look good.

Hey, there is NOTHING wrong with longbeds!!

Aside from my 92 toyota, that's all I've had. Both my Chevy's have been longbeds. grandpa passed them along when he got a newer model year. Not as sporty but adds to the sleeper factor....i hope.
