My TYC headlight update. (info, no pics)
#1
I recieved them the other day and they look great. Very clean and look to be well made.....
The reason for my post is I found out the projector portion of the lighting (low beam) is not a 9006 bulb like I had assumed. It turns out it is an H1 setup. The high beam is still a 9005.
I traded my 9006 HID kit for an H1 HID kit so if all goes well that's what I'll have installed. I'm just hoping it is at least as bright as stock. Those projectors don't look like they could spread light well at all. Then again neither do ANY projectors that I've looked at. LOL
I'll install the 9006 HIDs into my TYC Silverado lights this weekend an get some pics up by Monday at worst.

Thanks. That has been my biggest worry about the lights, is that they wouldn't be very bright in the projection portion. I can't wait to see them with the HID's though, cause I wanna see if the upgrade will really be worth it. Thanks for the post and keep us updated.
