I like the way this is set up. It would smooth out the dash and the added gauge pod looks really clean to me. I'll have this before too long!!!

That looks really cool? Is it just an entire replacement dash then? Who makes it?

I think that is made by Nu Image and its attaches to the existing dash, it doesn't replace it. I know they made the smooth and flame covers and some people had problems with the fitment of them. I also just saw a flame cover on a tahoe at a show I went to over the weekend and it looked like it fit well. It may be hit or miss with the fitmet or they may have changed them so they fit better. Definatly a good idea though.

Here's more info on it, plus the other ones they offer. I had a bud put one of the flame covers on his truck, and fitment was great. You're right though....it could be a hit and miss. The one with the gauge pod built in is a new addition to the lineup. They look REALLY good painted and installed!!!

I agree, they look awesome once painted and installed. Like I said, I saw a tahoe at a show this weekend with the flame cover and the fit was right on. Can't wait to see it installed. Do you plan on painting the rest of the dash?

Would certainly save you alot of time if you like the smooth dash look. I'm sure sanding and painting it is a PITA.

I can't wait to see some better pics once you have it painted and installed. I saw it a few weeks back and decided to wait about going back to the A-pillar for my guages until I can get one of these to go in my truck.
