Default My new DD

Just bought a new DD last weekend, I have already washed it like 4 time b/c of all the salt on the roads. Its a 2003 4x4 w/ 4.8. I settled for the 4.8 when I reallized what a hell of a deal this truck was. Not to mention it already has a BDS suspension lift, 17's and brand new mud tires! I really missed driving my old 99 4x4. I talked the old lady into letting me get her to replace ole' rusty my 93 4x4. Does anyone know what lift this looks like. I'm thinking its a 6", just b/c I don't think BDS makes a 4". I started to polish the drivers side rear wheel and after about 30 mins gave up, I'll have to finish them later. I don't think the previous owner has ever clean em. The tires are 33x12.5. I think next time I get tires I may go with 35's to fill out the wheel well a little better. Rob

Nice truck!

Def looks like a 6'' lift.

Get some ZEPALUME to clean your rims, it sprays, and you rinse it off quick and it will clean your rims without polishing.

Semi truck places have it, it's nasty stuff, but it works great on aluminum as long as its not clear coated.

very nice. i still wish i had found a good deal on a 4x4.
whatever you decide on tire size...dont get those again. I had them on my old ranger. sheesh. I got maybe 30k out of them and they sucked on just about everything. lol

I plan to remove the rain guards and pin striping. I have already taken off the ugly bed rail caps. I would like to get some paint to match fender flares. I don't know about the catt.le gaurd though its starting to grow on me......we will see what I do with that. I didn't like at all at first. The guy that had it before me put chrome tips on it, so I have to change those to stainless so they will look good for more then a month. Rob
